Black cable ties
In our wide range of cable ties, you will find ties in many different colors. The most common color is black. Fifteen of our types of cable ties are available (in addition to other colors) in black. Types of black cable ties
Fifteen of the thirty-eight types of cable ties in our range are available in black. These are the following types:

Properties of black cable ties
Black cable ties generally have the same properties as cable ties in other colors. However, there is one key difference: black cable ties are UV resistant.
Brands of cable ties: WKK, Ty-Rap®, & Ty-Fast
The various types of black cable ties come from one of three possible brands: WKK, Ty-Rap®, or Ty-Fast®.
WKK cable ties
Most of our black cable ties are from our own WKK brand. These cable ties stand out from Ty-Rap® and Ty-Fast® cable ties due to their more favorable pricing and a wider variety of types. Additionally, Ty-Rap® cable ties have a stainless steel locking barb, while WKK and Ty-Fast® cable ties have a plastic locking barb.
Ty-Rap® & Ty-Fast® cable ties
Ty-Rap® and Ty-Fast® are original brands of Thomas & Betts but have since become part of ABB. Ty-Rap® cable ties are available in various versions, and all of them (unlike Ty-Fast® and WKK cable ties) have a stainless steel locking barb. Ty-Fast® cable ties have a plastic locking barb and are available in only one variant.
Personal advice
Which black cable tie is most suitable for your application depends on several questions. What will the cable tie be used for? What temperatures must the cable tie withstand? Will the cable tie be exposed to chemicals? What is the required tensile strength? The answer to each of these questions will influence your choice.
