Screw mount cable ties
Cable ties with a mounting eyelet make it easy to bundle, secure, and guide a cable bundle. Simply fasten the cable tie to a surface, such as a wall, using a screw through the mounting eyelet.
Features of cable ties with mounting eyelet
Our cable ties with a mounting eyelet are made of polyamide 6.6, a halogen-free and silicone-free plastic that is highly suitable for most standard applications. These cable ties can be used in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +85 °C. They also comply with flammability rating UL 94 V-2.
Cable ties with a mounting eyelet are available in two colours: black and natural. The black version is UV-resistant.
The natural-coloured cable ties are available in lengths from 110 to 382 millimeters and widths from 2.5 to 7.6 millimeters. The black cable ties are available in lengths from 150 to 382 millimeters and widths from 3.6 to 7.6 millimeters. The tensile strength varies per variant, ranging from a minimum of 8.1 to a maximum of 54.4 kilograms.
When choosing the right variant, also take into account the diameter of the eyelet on the cable tie, which varies (longer and wider ties have a larger eyelet diameter).
Applications of cable ties with mounting eyelet
Cable ties with a mounting eyelet are mainly used to guide cables and cable bundles along a surface—often a wall. By fastening the cable ties to a wall with screws, cables can be easily routed from one cable tie to the next.
How to use cable ties with mounting eyelet
Cable ties with a mounting eyelet are easy to use. In this example, we assume you want to guide a cable bundle along a wall.
1. Determine where the cable bundle will run along the wall. Mark the points where the bundle needs to be fixed to the wall—for example, every 30 centimeters.
2. Place the eyelet of the cable tie at the point where the bundle should be fixed and secure the cable tie to the wall with a screw.
3. Repeat this at every point where the bundle will run and needs to be fixed, creating a series of cable ties mounted on the wall.
4. Guide the cable bundle from one cable tie to the next, fastening the bundle by threading the end of the cable tie through the head.
Repeat this for all points, and the cable bundle will now be secured to the wall.
