UV resistant
When cable ties are used outdoors, they are exposed to UV radiation from the sun. This can shorten the lifespan of the cable tie. For this reason, special UV-resistant cable ties have been developed. UV-resistant cable ties have a black colour and are available in the materials polyamide 6.6 and polypropylene.
Stainless steel cable ties are by default UV-resistant.
