Sealing grommets
Sealing grommets are specially designed cable entry sealing grommets used to route cables securely and safely through enclosures, panels, or metal plates. They prevent the cable from rubbing directly against sharp edges or metal surfaces and ensure a neat, protected transition.
Properties
The sealing grommets are made of plastic, specifically EPDM — ethylene propylene diene monomer. This material is known for its long lifespan and excellent resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions.
Applications
Sealing grommets are used to guide cables safely and neatly through panels, housings, or metal sheets. They protect cables from wear, sharp edges, and mechanical stress, significantly extending their service life. Thanks to their flexible material, such as EPDM, the sealing grommets fit tightly around the cable and provide a reliable seal against dust, dirt, and moisture.
Sizes and colours
Our sealing grommets are available in three colours: black, silver-grey, and grey. In addition, they come in a wide range of sizes. The most important factor when choosing a grommet is the cable diameter it fits. The suitable cable diameters range from 3–5 millimetres up to 26–35 millimetres.
