Polyamide 6.6 with metal pigments

Polyamide 6.6 with metal pigments is used for detectable cable ties. The plastic is regular polyamide 6.6, but tiny bits of metal are mixed through the plastic. Therefor, even the tiniest pieces of cable tie can be detected using a metal detector.

The tensile strength of the cable tie is not influenced by the metal pigments, meaning that the tensile strength is the same as that for regular cable ties.
