Properties of plastic cable ties for air conditioners
Plastic cable ties for air conditioners are made of polyethylene. As a result, they are resistant to temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. Like other types of WKK cable ties, they feature a plastic locking barb.
These cable ties comply with flammability rating UL 94 HB and are free from halogens and silicones. They are also RoHS compliant.
Air conditioner cable ties are available only in the colour natural and come in two different lengths.
Using plastic cable ties for air conditioners
This type of cable tie is used to guide and secure air conditioner hoses. Near the head of the cable tie is a hole, allowing you to fasten the cable tie to a wall or ceiling with a nail. Follow these steps for proper use:
- Determine the desired path for guiding the air conditioner hose along the wall or ceiling.
- Mark the spots where the hose needs support.
- Position the cable tie on the mark and secure it to the surface with a nail.
- Guide the hose along the cable tie and secure it by guiding the tail of the tie through the head.
