Releasable cable ties
Releasable cable ties are an environmentally friendly alternative to regular cable ties. Since they can be reused multiple times, they help save a significant amount of plastic compared to single-use cable ties. When using releasable cable ties to bundle cables or other objects, do not cut off the end of the tie. This ensures that you can reuse the cable tie later for bundling or securing objects with a larger diameter.
To release the cable tie after use, simply press the locking tab or move the lever, allowing you to easily remove the cable tie. When properly stored (out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources, and in an environment that is neither too dry nor too humid), these cable ties can be reused multiple times.
Our releasable cable ties are available in eight lengths and three widths.
Locking mechanism
The mechanism that allows the cable tie to be released after use depends on the width of the tie. Cable ties with a width of up to 4.8 millimeters can be released using a lever on top of the tie head. Cable ties with a width of 7.6 millimeters can be released by pressing the tab in front of the tie head.
Available colors
Our releasable cable ties are available in four colors: black, natural, red, and blue. There are three variations available in blue and red, while eleven variations are available in black and natural. All black releasable cable ties are also UV-resistant.
Material
All our releasable cable ties are made of Polyamide 6.6. This plastic ensures a long lifespan for the cable tie. Additionally, Polyamide 6.6 has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and meets the UL 94 V-2 flammability rating. All cable ties made from Polyamide 6.6 are halogen-free and silicone-free.
Tensile strength
All releasable cable ties have a tensile strength of 22.2 kilograms.
