Bootlace ferrule crimping tool
WKK provides practical crimping tools for both insulated and non-insulated bootlace ferrules ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 mm². These tools are used to crimp the ferrule onto the stripped end of the wire. Thanks to the crimping design, the ferrule is evenly shrunk around the conductor, ensuring optimal electrical conductivity and mechanical connection. This prevents loose or poorly contacting connections that could cause deformation or oxidation. During use, first strip the end of the cable, slide the correct-sized ferrule over the conductor, and use the tool to crimp the ferrule properly. Afterwards, you can attach the finished product to, for example, a spring or screw terminal.
