WKK Cares - our commitment to the world
Under the name "WKK Cares," we have made it our mission to contribute to a variety of charitable initiatives. We not only donate part of our profits, but also run a dedicated recycling program. Support for environmental and social projects - local and worldwide
Charity projects
Every year we support various projects in the following areas:
- Environment, sustainability & protection of species
- Education
- Health promotion
- Disaster relief
- Famine
- General humanitarian aid
At WKK, the decision on which projects and humanitarian initiatives to support is made collectively by all our employees. Below, we would like to briefly highlight some of the projects we are proud to contribute to. Because only together can we protect our planet and make it a better place for all its inhabitants — both people and animals alike.

May - July 2025
Trees for All
In 2025 we launched the campaign Greener Together, an initiative where customers of WKK contribute to planting trees via their orders with WKK. During this campaign we donated over 2700 trees to projects in The Netherlands and in Scotland to help contribute to a better tomorrow.

WKK has been a proud sponsor of the Alpe d’HuZes event for several years. As part of our contribution, WKK provides the cable ties used to attach the name plates to the bikes of the participants as they cycle up the legendary Alpe d’Huez mountain.

WKK Recycle Program
Contributing to a cleaner future with the WKK Recycling Program
At WKK, we recognize both the growing challenge of environmental pollution and the shortage of raw materials for plastics. Plastics such as polyamide 6.6 are essential in countless applications thanks to their unique properties. However, global plastic production has risen dramatically over the past 70 years—from 1.5 million tons to more than 370 million tons—leading to increasing strain on resources and the environment.
To help address this, WKK not only offers reusable cable ties, which are particularly useful in office environments or for bundling cables that rarely need to be cut, but we have also launched the WKK Recycling Program. Through this initiative, we actively collect used cable ties and send them to a trusted partner for recycling—turning waste into new opportunities.
How it works
- Customers collect their used cable ties.
- Cable ties can be sent to the nearest WKK location or dropped off in person.
- WKK gathers the materials and ensures they are processed responsibly by our recycling partner.
Together, we can reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable future.
