How are cable ties with marker label used, and for what purposes?

Cable ties with marker label are used in the same way as regular cable ties. They are used for bundling cables: the cable tie is placed around the bundle, and is closed by putting the end of the cable tie through the head of the cable tie.

However, these cable ties differ from regular cable ties due to the marker label that is positioned directly above or below the head of the cable tie. This marker label can be written on directly. This makes that marker label cable ties are mostly used in situations where is it important that the bundle of cables is provided with identification. Therefore, these cable ties are often used in the IT industry.

Which cable tie with marker label variants are there?

There are four types of cable ties with marker label -  see the image below. Each of these variants is available in multiple sizes and in the colours black and natural. Black cable ties with marker labal are UV resistant.

All marker label cable ties are made of the material Polyamide 6.6. Therefore, they can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +85 °C. Our marker label cable ties are silicone- and halogen free and meet the UL 94 V-2 flammability class.
