WKK Green Campaign 2026: Coral Reef Restoration

WKK Green Campaign 2026: Coral Reef Restoration

Posted on 20 October 2026

WKK launches Green Campaign 2026 to support coral reef restoration in Indonesia

From 1 October to 30 November 2026, WKK’s Green Campaign will once again take centre stage. This year, together with our customers, we are supporting the restoration of damaged coral reefs around Nusa Penida in Indonesia. In doing so, we are building on last year’s campaign, which focused on planting trees, with a new initiative.

Under the motto One WKK. One Green Impact., participating WKK locations are working towards one shared goal this year: supporting Mossy Earth’s Coral Reef Restoration project.

From planting trees to restoring coral reefs

Last year, the Green Campaign focused on planting trees. This year, we are turning our attention to another vulnerable ecosystem: coral reefs.

Coral reefs are among the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world, but damaged reefs do not always recover naturally. Around Nusa Penida, Mossy Earth works together with the local community to stabilise and restore degraded reef areas.

Special reef structures are placed on the seabed to help stabilise loose and damaged sections of the reef. Naturally detached local coral fragments can then be attached to these structures, giving the reef an opportunity to continue developing and recovering.

Every order from €500 contributes

During the campaign, WKK will make a contribution to the project on behalf of the customer for every individual order worth €500 or more. An order of €500 is equivalent to supporting one quarter of a reef structure. The higher the order value, the greater the contribution to the project.

There is no additional cost to the customer; the contribution is funded entirely by WKK.

Throughout the campaign, we will track the combined impact of all participating WKK locations. On the dedicated Green Campaign landing page, One WKK. One Green Impact., you can follow how many reef structures we are supporting together with our customers.

Making the impact visible

An important part of the campaign is making the contribution tangible and visible.

At the end of the campaign, every participating organisation will receive a personalised digital Green Impact Certificate. This will show the company’s individual impact as well as the combined result achieved by all participating WKK customers.

In this way, we want to do more than simply communicate that we are contributing to nature restoration. We also want to show concretely what all those individual orders can achieve when combined.

Working together with Mossy Earth

For this campaign, WKK is working together with Mossy Earth, an organisation focused on biodiversity and ecosystem restoration.

Through Mossy Earth’s project, we are able to follow the progress and impact of the coral reef restoration activities. This enables us to provide increasingly clear insight throughout the campaign into what the combined contribution of our customers is achieving.

With the Green Campaign 2026, we are continuing to develop an approach in which sustainability is not simply a message, but is linked to a concrete nature restoration project.

Together, we are giving coral reefs a new future.
